Bringing together 10 clubs from the Holy City, the tournament is supervised by the agency’s Children for Al-Quds club, in partnership with the Moroccan Cultural Center Association – Maison du Maroc.
Participating clubs were divided into two groups, the first two of which qualified for the semi-finals, which were played on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Agency said in a statement issued on Thursday, adding that the third-place play-off game and the final will take place on Sunday.
The Agency stressed that the tournament is part of its program for the 2023 summer, and reflects its interest in all social sectors in Al-Quds, on the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
Among these areas, the same source cited the children and youth sector, through an annual program of activities involving the rehabilitation of sports facilities in schools, the equipping of stadiums and support for sports clubs and teams in various disciplines.
