Airports: Over 7.43 Mln Passengers in S1-2022 (ONDA)

‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌​ ​ ‌​ ​ Casablanca – The Kingdom’s airports have posted, during the first half of 2022, a commercial traffic volume of 7,439,275 passengers, through 70,680 flights, according to the National Office of Airports (ONDA).

The national airports have experienced a recovery rate of 64% compared to the same period in 2019 for passengers and of 72% for airport movements and this, despite the late resumption of international traffic that took place only from February 7, 2022, said the Office in a statement.

The Mohammed V airport, the first airport platform of the Kingdom, has received at the end of June 2,756,685 passengers, through 27,258 flights, with a significant recovery rate of 59% compared to the same period in 2019.

The 2nd is the Marrakech Menara airport which recorded 1,764,080 passengers with a recovery rate of 56%, followed by the Agadir Al Massira airport which accumulated a commercial air traffic of 613,917 passengers, with a recovery rate of 63%.
