Royal Speech Enshrines Women’s Role in Morocco’s Development – Polish Senator

‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌​ ​ ‌​ ​ Warsaw – HM King Mohammed VI’s speech delivered on the occasion of the 23th Throne Day enshrines Moroccan women’s role in the development of the country, said Joanna Sekuła, President of the Polish-Moroccan bilateral group in the Polish Senate.

Morocco has shown its commitment to strengthen the representation of women in all sectors, considering it as a priority step in the fight against discrimination and marginalization, she noted.

Regarding socio-economy, the senator noted that despite COVID-19, Morocco, under the leadership of HM the King, has laid the groundwork for a resilient economy, adding that the Royal speech called on the government to facilitate the steps to investors to boost the national economy.

She also welcomed the Sovereign’s call for the normalization of relations with Algeria to overcome the obstacles preventing the establishment of good neighborly relations between the two peoples Moroccan and Algerian brothers.
