The royal speech illustrates once again the special attention that the Sovereign gives to the interests and rights of Moroccans living abroad (MRE) and His continuous interaction with their grievances and concerns, besides their inclusion in the development of their motherland, the CCME said in a statement.
The Council believes that this speech is “a royal gesture” and a “mark of benevolence” that do justice to the attachment of the Moroccans living abroad to their motherland, their commitment to its sacred causes and their continued support for its supreme interests in happiness and misfortune.
“This is what the Moroccans of the world have shown during the Covid-19 crisis, be it through their remittances, their support to their families or their contribution to the Special Fund for the management of the pandemic, not to mention the associative initiatives,” the statement added.
The Council welcomed the content of the royal speech, which emphasized the importance of establishing a permanent structural relationship with Moroccan competencies abroad, including Moroccan Jews. The Council also welcomed the call of the Sovereign to create a special mechanism to accompany these Moroccan competencies and talents abroad and support their initiatives and projects.
