Introduced by the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui, this legislation aims to establish bridges between the various faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry, and between these faculties and other institutions of higher education to enable students to orient themselves and reorient themselves while retaining their achievements, said the Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mustapha Baitas, at a press briefing held after the Weekly Cabinet meeting.
Under this text, the faculties mentioned above will be in charge of preparing and issuing a degree of general studies in medical sciences and a degree of general studies in dentistry at the end of a four semester training after the Baccalaureate in one of the cycles of scientific branches, he added.
According to Baitas, these faculties will also be in charge of preparing and delivering a degree of basic studies in pharmacy and a degree of basic studies in dentistry at the end of a two-semester training following the completion of a degree of general studies in medical sciences, a degree of general studies in pharmacy or a degree of general studies in dentistry.
