The parents and guardians of several children beneficiaries of the settlements expressed, on Saturday, their appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for His considerable efforts in favor of the Palestinian cause in various political, economic and social fields.
In statements to the press, they also expressed their gratitude to His Majesty the King for the sincere love they felt from the Moroccan people, during their two-week stay in their second country.
The children were welcomed, upon their arrival in Al-Quds, from Casablanca, by the director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency office in Al-Quds, and the children’s guardians whose feelings were mixed between the joy of returning to Al-Quds and the difficulty of leaving Morocco of which they kept a good impression.
The thirteenth edition of these summer camps was organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, from August 12 to 26 in the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Asilah, Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen and Larache.
As in previous editions, the Agency has developed, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, a rich program for this edition which included the organization of educational trips for beneficiaries who visited the most important historical monuments of the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Asilah, Tetouan, M’diq and Chefchaouen, as well as several important economic projects carried out by the Kingdom including the Tangier-Med port, automotive factories, infrastructure projects, roads and dams.
The summer camps ended with the organization of a reception in honor of these children, which was marked by the presentation of certificates of participation to the 50 girls and boys participating, who also proceeded to a symbolic operation of “watering” the olive trees of Al-Quds and visited the exhibition “Al-Quds and Palestine in the messages and speeches of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful”.
