Generalizing AMO to RAMED Beneficiaries to Strengthen Health System Reform – Akhannouch

Rabat – The generalization of compulsory health insurance (AMO) to current beneficiaries of the RAMED is likely to strengthen the reform of the health system, said Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch on Wednesday.

In a statement to the press at the end of a ministerial meeting devoted to monitoring the implementation of the site of social protection, Akhannouch said that “the application of this program, which is part of the implementation of the royal site of generalization of social protection to all Moroccans, is able to consolidate the achievements of the beneficiaries of the RAMED scheme and strengthen the reform of the health system.

The Head of Government said that a meeting will be held before the end of the year to examine the legal, procedural, practical and financial aspects of the implementation of this program, which aims to improve health services provided to RAMED beneficiaries.
