Morocco Qualifies for Paris UCI Track Cycling World Championships

Casablanca – After securing a spot in the World Road Championships (Australia 2022), Moroccan cycling has also qualified for the International Cycling Union (UCI) Track Cycling World Championships, to be held on October 12-16 in France.

Morocco will take part for the first time in these world championships to be held at the National Velodrome of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Paris suburb).

Moroccan cycling, which brilliantly dominated the last African track cycling championship (July 14-17 in Abuja, Nigeria) has confirmed its participation in the World Scratch races (Elite Men category).

The upcoming World Championships will bring together the best track cyclists worldwide, including the title holders of the previous edition (Roubaix 2021) and the continental champions, who will compete for the Rainbow jersey.
