‘Forsa’: 452 Projects Approved by Regional Funding Commissions (Official)

Rabat – The regional funding commissions of the “Forsa” program have approved the funding of 452 projects, said Thursday in Rabat, Minister Delegate in charge of relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mustapha Baitas.

At a press briefing held after the Council of Government, held under the chairmanship of the head of government Aziz Akhannouch, Baitas said that the regional funding commissions of “Forsa”, which have selected nearly 18 thousand projects that can be supported, have assessed the funding needs expressed by the first tranche of project holders to approve 452 projects.

The average funding requested amounts to 93,000 dirhams, including the subsidy of 10,000 dirhams, said the Minister, indicating that the government has mobilized the budget allocated for this purpose. He added that more than 450 project holders will be funded from next week.

Regarding the gender approach, Baitas said that women project holders represent 20% of the selected projects (3,432), noting that these projects relate to agriculture, agribusiness, trade, tourism, textiles, etc.
