Casablanca Port Connected by 27 Direct Regular Lines to More Than 85 Ports Worldwide (OCPM)

Casablanca – The port of Casablanca is connected by 27 direct regular lines to more than 85 ports worldwide and to about 34 countries, according to the Observatory of the Competitiveness of Moroccan Ports (OCPM).

The year 2021 was marked by the start of a new line, specializing in the transport of containers and provided by the shipowner MEARSK, linking the port of Casablanca to Valencia, Barcelona, Fos sur Mer and Genoa, said the OCPM in the 2021 edition of its report on port performance, published on the website of the National Ports Agency (ANP).

According to the same source, the port of Casablanca was served during the past year by 2,527 calls after 2,499 calls in 2020, a slight increase of 1.1% year-on-year, with an average of about 210 calls per month.
