The Moroccan team won this award after 10 hours of competition, followed by Mauritius and Tunisia, which have reached respectively the second and third step of the podium.
The jury also awarded a special prize to Ghana for the best team spirit.
Placed under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this prestigious competition is marked by the participation of great African pastry chefs from eight countries, including Egypt, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire.
The three winning teams that dazzled the taste buds of the international jury have earned their tickets to the World Cup of Pastry which will take place next January in Lyon (France), at the Salon de l’hôtellerie et de la restauration (Sirha).
