During this ceremony, a Khalid El Badri film was screened, recounting the journey of Omar Sayed who was born in 1947 in Casablanca’s Hay Mohammadi, in addition to his artistic life that spans over several decades of rich contributions in the fields of theater, film and television.
On this occasion, Playwright Hassan Raiss, said that this tribute, which closes the Festival in beauty, comes in recognition of the great 50-year-long contribution of Omar Sayed to the Moroccan artistic scene.
He stressed that it is thanks to Omar Sayed that Nass El Ghiwane continues to exist after all these years, noting that this artist is the pillar of this group that still has the same success with the public.
