Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency Donates Electronic Equipment to Al-Aqsa Mosque Library

Al-Quds – Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency donated electronic equipment to Al-Aqsa Mosque Library. The donation was handed over in coordination with the administration of the Al-Quds’ Waqf Endowments, in the presence of the director in charge of the management of the Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui.

It includes 20 tablets, 10 laptops, a large screen TV, 3 overhead projectors, a projection screen and a mobile classroom cart to store and charge the devices simultaneously.

On this occasion, Librarian Razan Al-Sharif welcomed this valuable donation. The Agency’s response to the request of Al-Aqsa Library will contribute to the development of the services of this space of cultures and knowledge, she said.

Pointing out the attention given by the Agency to the institutions of the Holy City, Mrs. Al-Sharif said the donation is in addition to the Library’s 80,000 books, original documents and manuscripts.

For his part, Ismail Al-Ramli, coordinator of programs and projects of the Agency in Al-Quds, stressed that the Agency’s response to the request of the Al-Aqsa Library is part of the efforts of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to safeguard the special character of the Holy City, a symbol of religious and cultural diversity.
