Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency Launches $1Mln Projects in Holy City

Al-Quds – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency launched, during the month of September, a new series of projects in the Holy City, with a financial endowment of more than one million dollars, financed by the Kingdom of Morocco.

These projects, whose implementation was supervised by the director in charge of the management of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, fall within the framework of the continuation by the Agency of its social programs and projects in favor of Al-Quds and its inhabitants, in accordance with the instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.

These projects relate to education, health, culture and social assistance programs.

In addition, the Agency has undertaken to study the files for equipping Al-Quds hospitals with solar panels to reduce electricity bills, repairing and renovating the Marrakech hall of the Jabouss Cultural Center and giving it a Moroccan touch, and equipping the main auditorium of the Al-Hakawati National Theater with new seats, repairing and restoring the rehearsal hall, as well as supporting the project to equip the group of volunteers to intervene in emergency situations with first aid kits and projectors to help families bury their dead in Muslim cemeteries at night.
