The opening ceremony of this conference, organized by the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, was marked by the presence of several members of the government concerned with the implementation of the INDH, representatives of international organizations and public institutions, diplomats and many public and private actors.
This event is meat to mobilize the various human development actors around important and urgent issues and to explore innovative practices, tools and methods related to human development issues in general, and human capital development in particular, as well as to increase the visibility of INHD activities and to share good practices within the national human development ecosystem.
The theme chosen for this edition is in perfect alignment with the recommendations of the New Development Model (NMD), as well as with the dynamics of reform initiated by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Learning and Sports for an “educational renaissance” at the national level while focusing on improving the quality of learning, the objective being to promote exchanges between the various participants in order to contribute to advancing the reflection in favor of the ongoing reform.
Education is one of the major components of the Human Capital Index (HCI), which explains the importance of converging the efforts of all stakeholders in order to successfully meet the challenge of improving the academic performance of Moroccan students. Indeed, to succeed in the challenge of human development, in particular through the boosting of human capital, it is imperative to improve the quality of education.
