Raja Casablanca Announces Amicable Separation from Coach Benzarti

Casablanca – Raja Casablanca announced on Wednesday that it has amicably separated from its Tunisian coach Faouzi Benzarti.

In a statement published on social networks, the club said it has reached an agreement with Faouzi Benzarti to amicably terminate their contract.

The president of Raja, Aziz Babraoui held “a long meeting” with Benzarti to convince him to abandon his decision to leave, but the latter has stuck to his position, says the club.

In the same context, Raja announced to have ended the mission of the technical committee composed of Hilal Tayer and Abdelilah Fahmi.

The Casablanca club had announced in July to have concluded a contract with Benzarti, who had replaced as coach Rachid Taoussi, dismissed for poor results.

After three days in the Botola Pro D1 Inwi, Raja is 11th in the standings, with two points from two draws, against one defeat.
