Ottawa – Morocco’s commitment to peace in North Africa and the Middle East was highlighted in Ottawa, during a ceremony held on the occasion of the return of Parliament in Canada with the Kingdom and Israel as guests of honor to mark the second anniversary of the restoration of their bilateral relations.

Speaking at the ceremony, held recently at the initiative of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) in collaboration with the Canada-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group, Morocco’s ambassador in Ottawa, Souriya Otmani, said that the tripartite agreement to restore relations between Morocco and Israel reflects the Kingdom’s deep and continuing commitment to peace, security and prosperity in North Africa and the Middle East.
