Heavy Local Thunderstorms, Gusts Expected in Several Provinces

Rabat – Heavy local thundershowers (15-50 mm), accompanied by gusts (60 to 70 km/h), are expected from Monday to Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).

Local thundershowers (15-30 mm) will concern, Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the provinces of Midelt, Figuig and the reliefs of Errachidia, said the DGM in an orange alert bulletin.

The provinces of Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab and Boujdour will experience, for their part, from Monday at 3 p.m. to Tuesday at 3 a.m., heavy thunderstorms (30-50 mm), added the same source.
