International Weightlifting Federation President Hails Morocco’s Sports Infrastructure

Casablanca – International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) President Mohammed Jalood welcomed, Monday in Casablanca, the quality of sports infrastructure available in Morocco and the development of the practice of this discipline at national level.

“I was fascinated by the great development of infrastructure in the Kingdom of Morocco over the past ten years,” said Jalood on the occasion of the kickoff of the African Junior and Cadet Weightlifting Championship in Casablanca.

He added, in a statement to M24, that “Morocco is able today to organize international weightlifting championships, which do honor to the African continent,” stressing “the availability of the International Federation to accompany the Kingdom in organizing the most prestigious events.”

“Every time I visit the Kingdom, I see that the sports facilities are improving more and more, which deserves to be noted,” he said.
