Jewish New Year: President of New York’s High Rabbinical Court Prays for HM the King’s Health and Morocco’s Prosperity

New York – President of the High Rabbinical Court of New York, Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, prayed for the health and well-being of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, as well as for the prosperity of Morocco.

During a ceremony held Tuesday in the American metropolis, on the occasion of the celebration of the Jewish New Year, Rabbi Pinto prayed God to preserve His Majesty the King, to perpetuate on Him the benefits of health and to grant Him long life.

He also prayed to the Almighty to fulfill the Sovereign in the person of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, as well as in all members of the illustrious Royal Family.

The ceremony, which took place in the synagogue of the American metropolis, was attended by members of the Jewish community of Moroccan origin established in New York and the United States.
