Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire Discuss Ways to Develop Cultural Cooperation

Mexico City – Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, and his Ivorian counterpart, Francoise Remarck, discussed ways to further develop bilateral cooperation in the cultural field, through co-organizing meetings and cultural events.

During a meeting held Wednesday on the sidelines of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development (MONDIACULT 2022), the two ministers stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries.

They expressed on this occasion their commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of the cultural partnership agreement between the two countries and to expanding it to promote cultural action, production and exchange.

The two ministers also highlighted the excellent relations between Rabat and Abidjan under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and President Alassane Ouattara in various fields.

The UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development is an opportunity to engage in a reflection on cultural policies to address global challenges and define priorities for a stronger and more resilient cultural sector.
