The meeting was an opportunity to highlight aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in various international events and to welcome the strong and close political relations between the two countries.
It was also an occasion to highlight the fraternal relations between the two peoples of the two brotherly kingdoms, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and HM King Abdullah II.
During this meeting, which was attended by Morocco’s ambassador to Jordan, Khalid Naciri, the official reviewed the Kingdom’s experience in the field of justice field, the steps taken in the process of justice system reform, and the reform projects carried out by the current government, especially with regard to legislation, digitalization and the rights of women and children.
For his part, Jordan’s Minister of Justice recalled the depth of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the judicial and legal fields, reviewing his country’s experience in the field of justice.
The Moroccan experience in this field deserves the attention of Jordan which can benefit from it at various levels, he said.
The two parties agreed to establish a joint technical committee to prepare draft cooperation agreements in various areas of justice, exchange expertise and experience on judicial and legal matters, and exchange on legislation enacted in both countries.
The visit of the Minister of Justice in Jordan is part of a regional tour with stops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Egypt.
