Istanbul: Morocco Participates in 7th International Arabic Book Fair

Istanbul – The 7th edition of the International Arabic Book Fair opened, Saturday evening in Istanbul, under the theme “a world without borders”, with the participation of several Moroccan publishers.

This event, organized by the Arab Publishers’ Association, in coordination with the Union and the Association of Turkish publishers, brings together “Slaiki Akhawayn Publications” in Tangier, “Editions Bab Al Hikma” in Tetouan, “Maison de culture” in Casablanca, as well as the Union of Moroccan publishers.

According to the organizers, this event, considered the largest Arab book Fair outside the Arab world, hosts more than 250 publishing houses, representing 29 countries around the world, as well as many educational and cultural institutions and civil society organizations.

The Fair (01-09 October) will feature the exhibition of more than 150,000 titles and the organization of cultural events, such as conferences, seminars and poetry evenings, as well as various intellectual activities.
