Government Chief, Saudi Trade Minister Discuss Strengthening Economic Cooperation

Rabat – Strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Morocco and Saudi Arabia was the focus of talks, Monday in Rabat, between Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, and the Saudi Minister of Trade, Majid Ben Abdullah Al Qasabi, on a working visit to the Kingdom.

This meeting was also an opportunity to identify the best levers to give new impetus to bilateral trade, in the interest of the two sister kingdoms, said a statement from the Department of the Head of Government.

During these talks, the Head of Government reviewed the major economic projects launched by Morocco, under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, the statement said.

In addition, the two parties highlighted the historic fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carried by the leaders of both countries, HM King Mohammed VI and the Custodian of the Holy Places, HM King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

Also took part in these talks the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Morocco, notes the same source.
