Morocco, Argentina Discuss Cooperation in Planning, Economic Analysis and Statistics

Rabat – The High Commissioner for Planning, Ahmed Lahlimi Alami, and the Ambassador, Undersecretary for Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Claudio Javier Rozencwaig, discussed, on Wednesday in Rabat, the prospects for cooperation between Morocco and Argentina, particularly in planning, economic analysis and statistics.

On this occasion, Lahlimi stressed that these areas are so important for economic development, especially in Africa and Latin America, given the various areas of common interest between the two regions.

Meanwhile, the High Commissioner for Planning welcomed the quality of cooperation between the two countries that dates back many years, recalling, in this regard, the contribution of Argentine experts to the work of the HCP in the context of the 2030 outlook.

For his part, Rozencwaig highlighted the means to promote a dynamic sectoral cooperation that is diversified with high potential in areas such as security, agriculture, renewable energy, technology, higher education and scientific research.

He noted, in this sense, the positive and sustained dynamic that characterizes the Moroccan-Argentine relations, reflected by a convergence of views on many international issues.

This meeting, held in the presence of the Ambassador of Argentina in Rabat, Raúl Ignacio Guastavino, was also an opportunity for both parties to welcome the actions carried out jointly for several years in various economic sectors, resulting in concrete and commendable achievements.
