Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology hosts 23rd IAS Conference

Rabat – The Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology will host, on October 18 and 19 at its headquarters in Rabat, the 23rd Conference of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS), held under the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation – Under Ever Changing Global Events”.

Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the conference will examine this theme through several topics, including new therapeutic approaches to personalized cancer care, bionanotechnologies in agriculture, the organizers say in a statement.

Participants in this meeting will also discuss water resources management, post-COVlD higher education, energy security, vaccine manufacturing in OIC countries (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), and agro-biodiversity and food security in a changing climate.

Members of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences and internationally renowned speakers and experts will take part in this 23rd conference, adds the same source.

The Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS) is an international scientific organization that was founded by the heads of state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in 1986 to assist countries to realize socio-economic advancement through the prudent use of science and technology.
