Placed under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this forum brings together some 600 decision-makers and senior economic and institutional leaders among the most influential of Africa, Europe and the Gulf around operational working sessions placing the African continent at the heart of discussions.
Organized by the Choiseul Institute in partnership with the Moroccan Employers’ Association (CGEM) and the Casablanca-Settat region, this meeting is dedicated to sharing experiences and deciphering trends at work in the African business world.
On this occasion, CGEM chairman, Chakib Alj stressed that the Association is proud to be a partner of this event of international scope, which is held in Casablanca, a city at the heart of the economic dynamics of Africa, the Arab world and the Mediterranean.
Connected to the world, “Casablanca is the image of a Morocco and Africa that move, dare and develop,” he said, recalling that more than 600 economic decision makers from 50 countries take part in this edition held in an unprecedented economic situation, marked by a series of crises and permanent changes.
Morocco is an important player in inter and intra-continental dialogue, said Alj, noting that Africa and Europe share the same challenges, including those related to immigration, climate change and instability of supply chains, hence the need to work on common solutions and further strengthen their ties.
For his part, president of the Casablanca-Settat region, Abdellatif Maâzouz noted that this edition is entirely dedicated to the partnership for sustainable human development and the promotion of responsible and mutually beneficial investment in the various territories of the African continent as part of a South-South-North Partnership.
