FM Meets With Senegalese Counterpart in Dakar

Dakar – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita met, on Friday in Dakar, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, Aïssata Tall Sall.

These talks, held at the headquarters of the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on the excellent and special relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Senegal and ways to reinvigorate them, as well as on topics of common interest.

The meeting was followed by a press statement by both ministers.

The meeting was attended, on the Moroccan side, by the Ambassador of His Majesty the King in Senegal Hassan Naciri and the Ambassador-Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), Mohamed Methqal, and on the Senegalese side by Sylvain Sambou, Director of Africa and the African Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Maimouna Diop Sy, advisor to the Minister, and Ambassador Fatou Gaye, Director of Protocol in the Department.
