Government to Grant New Financial Support to Transport Professionals

Rabat – Government Spokesperson Mustapha Baitas on Thursday announced that the Executive has decided to grant new support to transport professionals.

Answering questions from journalists at a press briefing held at the end of the Council of Government, Baitas said the government will launch the registration operation via an electronic platform dedicated to transport professionals, explaining that the amount of support will be set on the basis of selling prices of fuels.

The government had launched an operation of exceptional support to road transport professionals in order to preserve the purchasing power of citizens, given the current situation marked by rising fuel prices nationally and internationally.

This support was divided into several tranches that benefited different categories of professionals.
