2022 World Cup: Moroccan Delegation Flies to Doha

Casablanca – The Moroccan World Cup delegation left the Kingdom early Sunday morning, heading to Doha in Qatar to compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup (20 November-18 December).

The delegation of the national team includes seven players in this case Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti, Yahya Attiatallah, Yahya Jabrane, Munir El Kajoui, Selim Amallah, Jaouad El Yamiq, Azzedine Ounahi to which will join the rest of the group (19) still engaged with their respective clubs, said the Royal Moroccan Federation of Football (FRMF) in a statement published on its website.

The delegation of the national team is led by Abdelmalek Abroune, member of the Board of Directors of the FRMF, who represents the president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lekjaa, head of delegation, adds the same source.

At the World Cup 2022, the Atlas Lions will play in Group F, alongside Belgium, Croatia and Canada.

In preparation for this global event, the Moroccan selection will face in friendly match its Georgian counterpart next Thursday in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The match is scheduled from 20:00 local time (17:00 Morocco time).
