Amine Harit Suffers from ‘Sprain of Cruciate Ligaments’ of Left knee

Paris – Moroccan international footballer Amine Harit, injured during the match against AS Monaco on Sunday, suffers from “a sprain of the cruciate ligaments” of the left knee, announced his club Olympique de Marseille.

“Medical examinations are underway to offer him the appropriate care for his injury,” said the club in a statement.

The player, summoned for the World Cup in Qatar with the Moroccan team, “will follow a protocol of adapted care”, explained the club, without mentioning the duration of his absence.

The Moroccan midfielder was taken out on a stretcher during the match against Monaco.

His coach Igor Tudor mentioned “a very serious injury” a week before the start of the World Cup.
