A total of 24,914,311 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while the number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) has reached 23,413,809, the ministry pointed out in its daily COVID-19 bulletin, noting that 6,853,252 people have received the third dose of the vaccine, while 55,399 people have received the fourth dose.
According to the same source, the number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus rose to 1,266,788, while recoveries increased to 1,249,860, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.7%.
The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (44), Casablanca-Settat (43), Fez-Meknes (21), Marrakech-Safi (11), Souss-Massa (03), the Oriental (02), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (02), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (01), Dara-Tafilalet (01) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (01)..
As for coronavirus-related fatalities, their number remained at 16,283, while the number of active cases stands at 774, with five new severe or critical cases reported in the last 24 hours.
