The message sent by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the participants in the First African Conference on Health Risk Reduction attests to the importance that the Kingdom and the Sovereign give to medical coverage and compulsory health insurance, the Head of Government told the press on the sidelines of his participation in this Conference.
In this regard, he highlighted the major steps taken by Morocco on the way to the generalization of medical coverage to all its citizens.
Akhannouch also considered that this approach of the Kingdom in this area is likely to further strengthen the cohesion within society, while describing as “great” the experience of Morocco in terms of generalization of medical coverage.
He added that the debates and discussions held during this conference will undoubtedly consolidate the orientation of the position of Morocco and experts in this field with regard to the issue of health, health risks and their reduction.
