During this meeting, the two parties discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the Institution of the Ombudsman of the Kingdom and the National Mediation Council in Central Africa.
The meeting aims to deepen the ties of cooperation between the two countries in all areas related to the competence of the Institution of the Ombudsman of the Kingdom, Benalilou told MAP.
“The visit of Mr. Ngon Baba was an opportunity to discuss all the axes of cooperation as well as a possible support to our counterparts of the National Mediation Council (in Central Africa),” he said, referring to the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding on the extension of these cooperation mechanisms between the two institutions.
For his part, the Ombudsman of the Central African Republic welcomed the “excellent” relations between the two countries, stressing that this meeting aims to build a new basis for “fruitful” relations between the two institutions.
