Court of Cassation First Pres. Meets with Vietnamese Prosecutor General

Rabat – First president of the Court of Cassation, president delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), Mohamed Abdennabaoui, met on Monday in Rabat with the prosecutor general of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam, Le Minh Tri, who is currently on a working visit to Morocco.

During this meeting, Abdennabaoui gave an overview of the functioning of the Moroccan justice system and the major transformations and reforms that the judicial system has undergone, as well as the characteristics of the Moroccan experience in the field of the independence of the judiciary and the presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

For his part, the prosecutor general of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam told the press that this meeting was an opportunity to learn about the functions and competencies of the CSPJ, as well as the Moroccan judicial system, expressing the wish to see cooperation between the two bodies grow further in the future.
