Justice Minister Meets with Prosecutor General of Vietnam’s Supreme People’s Procuracy

Rabat – Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi met Tuesday in Rabat with prosecutor general of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam, Le Minh Tri, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of justice.

On this occasion, Ouahbi reviewed Morocco’s achievements in various fields, including the defense of human rights and the consolidation of the principles of good governance, highlighting the action of the Ministry of Justice and the importance of the projects launched, including the modernization and digitization of the judicial administration, the upgrading of infrastructure and the qualification of human resources.

For his part, the prosecutor general of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam welcomed the Moroccan experience, expressing his willingness to promote the exchange of experiences between the two countries and cement the bridges of bilateral cooperation.

The two parties also aspire to support joint action, to establish a mechanism for institutionalizing the partnership to serve the citizens of both countries and to promote the exchange of experiences, expertise and best practices in the field of justice.

The Vietnamese official and the accompanying delegation are on a working visit to the Kingdom from November 20 to 25.
