Morocco Participates in Africa Financial Industry Summit 2022 in Lomé

Lomé – The Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS), an international event aimed at fostering the emergence of a modern, innovative and inclusive pan-African financial services sector, opened Monday in Lomé, under the theme “Sustainable, borderless and digital, Transforming finance in the age of disruption”, with the participation of Morocco.

The opening ceremony of this meeting on the financial sector in Africa was attended by president of the Republic of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, Togolese Prime Minister, Victoire Tomegah Dogbé, several African ministers, as well as bank governors and representatives of financial institutions, including Morocco.

Founded by the Jeune Afrique Media Group in 2021, with the support of the IFC (World Bank Group), AFIS is a sister organization of the Africa CEO Forum, the leading platform for the African private sector. AFIS’ goal is to build a robust financial industry that serves the real economy and sustainable development.
