Second National Prevention Campaign against Cyberbullying to be Launched on Thursday

Rabat – The 2nd edition of the national prevention campaign against cyberbullying will be launched Thursday in Rabat, under the slogan “Report to stop cyberbullying against children and youth”, said the organizers.

Organized from 1 to 20 December 2022, the campaign aims to recall the need for greater collaboration of all actors in society to ensure better protection of children and youth in the digital world, they said in a statement, noting that this edition will focus on the importance of reporting as a mechanism for combating cyberbullying against children and youth.

In 2021, Morocco had become the 45th country in the world, the 13th in Africa and the first in North Africa to launch a reporting portal “Espace Maroc Cyberconfiance” (EMC) “www.cyberconfiance.ma”.

This event will also be an opportunity to present the statistics on cyberbullying in Morocco, as well as the efforts of the institutions concerned to address this issue.
