Senegalese President Congratulates Atlas Lions on their “Brilliant” Qualification for 2022 World Cup Quarterfinals

Dakar – The President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, has congratulated the Atlas Lions following their “brilliant” qualification to the quarterfinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup after beating the Spanish team in a penalty shootout (3-0).

“Congratulations to the Atlas Lions! Warm congratulations for this brilliant qualification to the quarterfinals of the World Cup and good luck for the rest,” wrote President Macky Sall on his twitter account.

Morocco has qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Cup Qatar-2022, beating Spain in a penalty shootout 3-0 on Tuesday at the Education City Stadium in Doha.
