Morocco’s National Flag Carrier Launches New Flight Program to Transport Fans to World Cup Quarterfinals

Casablanca – The Ministry of National Education of Preschool and Sports, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Wednesday the launch of a new flight program to transport Morocco’s supporters to the World Cup quarterfinals.

“After the feat and the historic qualification of the national soccer team to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, the Ministry of National Education of Preschool and Sports, the FRMF and RAM launch a new program of special flights for the movement of Moroccan fans in Doha to support the Atlas Lions in its next meeting Saturday, December 10,” said the national flag carrier in a statement.

Following the example of the devices put in place during the group stage and the round of 16 of the World Cup, this program provides supporters with the air ticket at a fixed rate of 5,000 dirhams including VAT, round trip in economy class, non-changeable and non-refundable, says the same source.

Thus, the National Company will schedule, December 09 and 10, seven special flights from the economic capital and seven return flights on December 11. These flights will be operated by wide-body aircraft with a capacity ranging from 274 to 340 seats each.

 

The special flights will be scheduled as follows (local time):

– On the outbound leg, from Casablanca on December 09 and 10:

 

* AT2276: takeoff on December 09 at 07:00 and arrival in Doha at 16:20.

* AT2274: takeoff on December 09 at 22:40 and arrival in Doha the next day at 08:00.

* AT2272 : takeoff on December 09 at 23h40 and arrival in Doha the next day at 09h00.

* AT2362 : takeoff on December 10th at 00h40 and arrival in Doha at 10h00.

* AT2366 : takeoff on December 10th at 01h40 and arrival in Doha at 11h00.

* AT2360 : takeoff on December 10th at 02h40 and arrival in Doha at 12h00.

* AT2364 : take-off on December 10th at 03h40 and arrival in Doha at 13h00.

 

– On the return trip, departing from Doha on December 11:

 

* AT2275: takeoff at 02:00 and arrival in Casablanca at 08:20.

* AT2363: take-off at 02:00 and arrival in Casablanca at 08:20.

* AT2273: takeoff at 03:05 and arrival in Casablanca at 09:25.

* AT2367 : takeoff at 05h00 and arrival in Casablanca at 11h20.

* AT2361 : takeoff at 06h00 and arrival in Casablanca at 12h20.

* AT2365 : takeoff at 07h00 and arrival in Casablanca at 13h20.

* AT2277: takeoff at 22:15 and arrival in Casablanca the next day at 04:35.

 

The marketing of these tickets will be open from tomorrow, Thursday, at 09:00, in the commercial agencies of the company and on the website “www.royalairmaroc.com”, notes the release.

“The valid Hayya card will be required to board. Customers who do not have it, will see their tickets cancelled. These will not be refunded.”
