World Cup: Moroccan Team Brought Joy to Every Arab Home (Dubai Crown Prince)

Abu Dhabi – The Moroccan national football team has brought joy to every Arab home by qualifying for the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup after beating Portugal in the quarter-finals (1-0), said the Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“Congratulations to Morocco… Congratulations to the Atlas Lions… Once again, you have brought joy and made your fans happy in all Arab homes and around the world,” Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote in a tweet.

Addressing the Atlas Lions, he added: “Today, with your determination, the dream of an outstanding Arab achievement on the land of the brotherly state of Qatar is growing.”

Morocco booked their place in the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup after beating Portugal at the Al-Thumama Stadium in Doha with a 42nd minute goal by Youssef En-Nesyri.

Morocco will face France in the semi-finals.
