Magnitude-4.5 Quake Recorded off Coast of Agadir Province

Rabat – A magnitude-4.5 earthquake was recorded on Monday off the coast of Agadir province, the National Institute of Geophysics (ING) said.

The tremor, whose epicenter is located off the Agadir province, occurred at 5:51:46 a.m. (GMT+1), said the National Network of Monitoring and Seismic Alert, under the ING, in a seismic alert bulletin.

At a depth of 3 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 30.290°N and a longitude of 9.650°W, the same source added.
