Morocco Has Best Defence at World Cup (France’s Coach)

Doha – The French coach Didier Deschamps said on Tuesday that the Moroccan team has the best defense at the 2022 World Cup.

During a press briefing, Deschamps stressed that the Moroccan team has the best defensive line at the Qatari World Cup, which has been reflected in its various matches since the beginning of the competition.  

In addition to its defensive solidity, the Moroccan team has maintained the same efficiency and the same level of play throughout the competition, he noted, adding that the offensive side of the Atlas Lions is also of great quality.

According to Deschamps, his team will try to break the Moroccan lock and score goals.

Moreover, the coach of Les Bleus praised the choices of the Moroccan coach Walid Regragui, as well as the work of his assistants and the staff of the team, considering that the qualification of Morocco to the last four of the Qatari World Cup is a great achievement.

He also emphasized the support of Moroccan fans to the national team, saying that his players are ready to play the semi-final against Morocco with the same commitment and willingness to meet the challenges.

Morocco will face France in the semifinals on Wednesday at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
