Non-financial Market Services: 32% of Employers Expect Increase in Activity in Q4-2022 (Statistics Office)

Casablanca – The expectations of business leaders in the non-financial market services sector, for the 4th quarter of 2022, reveal an increase in overall activity, according to 32% of them, and a decrease according to 18%, says the High Commission for Planning (HCP).

These expectations would be due, on the one hand, to the expected improvement in the activities of “Accommodation and Catering” and “Land transport and transport by pipeline” and, on the other hand, to the expected decline in the activities of “Air Transport” and “Rental and leasing”, explains the HCP in an information note.

The note also states that 27% of business leaders expect an increase in demand and 28% an increase in the number of employees.

In the third quarter of 2022, the activity of the non-financial market services sector would have increased according to 66% of the employers. This evolution would have been the result of the increase of the activities of “Telecommunications”, “Accommodation and Food Services”, “Air Transport” and “Activities of travel agencies, tour operators, reservation services and related activities”.
