Casablanca: 3 Dead in Partial Collapse of Facade of House in Danger of Ruin (Local Authorities)

Casablanca – Three people died, early Thursday morning in Casablanca, following the partial collapse of the side facade of a house, located in the Smara district and classified as a dwelling in danger of ruin, according to the local authorities of the Al-Fida-Mers Sultan districts prefecture.

Immediately notified of the incident, the local authorities and security and civil protection services have intervened to take the necessary measures, according to the same source, saying that two injured following the collapse, residents of an adjacent house, were transferred to the regional hospital Mohamed Bouafi, before succumbing shortly to their injuries, while the lifeless body of a third person was removed from the rubble of a traditional oven located on the first floor of the building that collapsed.
