Morocco to Host Next 2023 Club World Cup on February 1-11

Doha – The president of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, announced on Friday during a press conference in Doha, that Morocco will host the next Club World Cup from February 1 to 11, 2023.

Wydad Casablanca, the defending African champion, Real Madrid, winner of the European Champions League, Flamengo, who won the Copa Libertadores, the Seattle Sounders, winners of the CONCACAF Champions League, and Auckland who won the Champions League of the OFC (Oceania) will take part in this World Cup.

This Cup will also see the participation of the winner of the Asian Champions League, whose final will be played next January, and the representative of the host country.

It should be recalled that Morocco had organized the Club World Cup in 2013 and 2014.
