Central Bank Issues Commemorative Silver Medal on Museum’s 20th Anniversary

Rabat – Bank Al-Maghrib issued a commemorative silver medal on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the creation of its Museum.

According to a press release from the institution, this commemorative medal has the effigy of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the obverse, in addition to the words “Mohammed VI” and “Kingdom of Morocco” with at the bottom the years 2022-1443.

On the reverse, the medal has the inscription “20th anniversary of the establishment of the Museum of Bank Al-Maghrib,” said the release.

As for the center of the reverse of the medal, it contains the inscription and the visual identity of the Museum of Bank Al-Maghrib and an artistic representation of its exhibition hall and the dome of the historic site of Bank Al-Maghrib, says the same source.

The technical characteristics of the medal are as follows: an alloy composed of 925‰ of silver and 75‰ of copper, a weight of 28.28 grams and a diameter of 38.61 millimeters, notes Bank Al-Maghrib.

The institution also stresses that the sale of this medal is planned at the level of Bank Al-Maghrib counters and the store of its Museum in Rabat, from Monday, January 2, 2023.
