Responding to an oral question to the House of Councillors, Ait Taleb noted that the emergency services are an integral part of hospital services, stressing that the problem of emergencies is complex, which requires a comprehensive approach to find an appropriate solution.
As part of the next major reform of the health system, “we will find a solution to the problem of emergency services,” said Ait Taleb, quoted in a statement from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
The Minister noted in this sense that work is gradually undertaken as part of the overall reform of the health system, focusing, first, on the upgrading of health centers to enable them to accommodate more patients, devote the policy of proximity and avoid displacement of citizens to large hospitals unless they have a document about it.
Regarding the human resources of emergency services, Ait Taleb said that emergency medicine is a profession that requires commitment, adding that the new health function will change the deal to encourage and motivate the staff of emergency services.
