The tremor, whose epicenter is located in the town of Nekkour, occurred at 14H28min 58sec (GMT+1), said the National Network of Monitoring and Seismic Alert, under the ING, in a seismic alert bulletin.
At a depth of 24 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 34.999°N and a longitude of 3.894°W, the same source said.
A first magnitude-5.3 earthquake was recorded on Saturday morning in the same town.
