Comoros Can Learn from Moroccan Experience in Youth Entrepreneurship (Diplomat)

Rabat – The Comoros can draw inspiration from Morocco’s experience in youth entrepreneurship, especially the support to very small enterprises (VSE), the Consul General of the Union of Comoros in Laayoune, Said Omar Said Hassane, said on Saturday in Oujda.

During a visit to the Association “Oriental Moubadara”, Said Hassane said he took note of programs and initiatives to support project holders implemented in the Oriental region, urging Comorian students pursuing their studies in Morocco, to think more about entrepreneurship, while taking advantage of training opportunities offered by the Kingdom in this context.

“We are in the process of implementing the cooperation agreements between Comoros and Morocco in terms of collaboration and exchange of experiences in a win-win logic, and this in accordance with the enlightened vision of HM King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic of the Union of Comoros, Azali Assoumani,” he told MAP on the sidelines of this visit.

For the Comorian diplomat, Morocco has “a historic mission” for the African continent. The latter will benefit from Moroccan expertise, ingenuity and technology, noting that the Comoros and Morocco, whose close ties have been woven for centuries, are working together for the development of both countries.
